Progress Meeting at MPI Magdeburg
About
On February 24th-26th, 2025, the third meeting of our DFG-funded Research Unit IMPD4Cat was hosted by Kai Sundmacher and colleagues at Max Planck Institute for Dynamics of Complex Technical Systems. The program started with short presentations of the single subunits and continued with lectures from our invited speakers Felix Strieth-Kalthoff (Bergische Universität Wuppertal), Ehecatl Antonio del Rio Chanona (Imperial College London), Mathias Ulbricht (University of Duisburg-Essen) and John Woodley (DTU - Technical University of Denmark). The meeting was full of lively discussions and knowledge exchange. After Wolf Zinke (Otto-von-Guericke University Magdeburg) gave us an overview on research data management in the beginning of the meeting the last day was dedicated to issues and possible solutions in RDM with Michael Liebau (Leipzig University). Additionally, a Magdeburg city bus tour with a subsequent dinner at Magado topped the meeting off. All FOR members thank Kai Sundmacher, Christoph Griehl, Louise Witzlack as well as Martin Uxa for an marvelous organisation of the event.
